After seeing my dad and brother enjoy distance running, I decided to sign up for cross country and track in middle school.
I continued running in high school, and after lots of hard work, great coaching, and great teammates, I finished my four years with two state championship team titles under our belts for cross country, and my senior year I qualified and raced in the state track meet in the 3200m.
Running had become such a big part of my life, I decided that I’d continue running at the DII collegiate level. I had a successful collegiate career which included competing at the cross country National Championships, and placing third at the Conference Championships for the 10k.
Now I spend my time training for half and full marathons and running the trails of Boulder County.
